August is well under way and the end of summer is in sight. I hope all of you have had time to relax and recharge in anticipation of another season of wonderful music making at your churches, schools, and other organizations where you make music or help others make music!
This fall brings some new faces to the Executive Committee. Regina Kettering is the new editor of Pipelines, our monthly newsletter. She is organist and bell choir director at Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls. Ryan Croyle joins us as webmaster. He is organist at First Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. Kathy Csellar is continuing as one of our web masters as well, and has been assisting Ryan in this transition. In addition, Neil Stahurski is continuing in his role as our email coordinator. Neil is Director of Music Ministries at the Church of the Assumption in Bellevue.
Be watching for a new look for our website and newsletter in September! And, speaking of September, Sub-Dean Nathan and his Program Committee have a great lineup of monthly meetings this year. I hope to see many of you at our first meeting on September 26th at Oakmont Presbyterian!
